About
Born in Rome in 1985, Pestilli's work is the result of his international training. After earning a degree in history at the Sorbonne in Paris, he moved to New York to train in the field of fashion. It is here that Pestilli begins to develop an independent body of work which leads him to explore remote corners of the world. The result is a documentary-style photography characterized by the search for paradox and irony that unites people and places at odds with each other.
He lives and works between London and Rome.
